Our Standards
How Express Pass Selects & Trains Instructors
Instructors are not simply added to a directory. Every instructor who teaches under the Express Pass name goes through the same process.
Teaching Is Observed
Before an instructor takes Express Pass learners, we watch how they actually teach in the car.
Express Pass Training
Instructors are trained in our approach: identify weaknesses quickly, fix the cause behind a repeated fault, and build independent drivers.
Shadowing Experienced Instructors
New instructors can shadow experienced Express Pass instructors before taking on their own learners.
Ongoing Learner Satisfaction
Instructors are expected to maintain strong learner feedback and customer satisfaction standards to keep taking our bookings.
If It Is Not Working
Not the Right Instructor?
Every learner is different, and the fit between learner and instructor matters more than most people expect. If your assigned instructor is not the right fit, contact Express Pass. Where another suitable instructor is available, we will help arrange a change without an additional instructor-change fee.
Availability varies by transmission, area and timetable, so tell us early rather than persevering with lessons that are not working for you.
