For most learners, yes. Removing clutch control and gear changes takes away the part of driving that causes stalling and takes up the most attention early on. You still have to master observation, positioning and judgement, which is where the test is really won or lost.

Yes. The practical test is the same, taken in an automatic car, and you are assessed on the same standards minus anything relating to gear changes.
No. An automatic licence covers automatic vehicles only. To drive a manual you would need to pass a further practical test in a manual car. Your theory test does not need retaking.
