It depends on your current ability — that's exactly what our Course Finder calculates. Complete beginners typically need 15–20 hours. Learners with some experience usually need 6–10 hours. Use the finder above and we'll give you a personalised number based on your actual skill ratings.
Intensive courses (6–20 hours) are packed into a short period — typically 1 to 4 weeks — and include a fast-tracked practical test. Weekly lessons spread your hours over 2–5 months and suit learners who prefer to build confidence gradually. Both options are available in manual and automatic.
You need a valid theory pass certificate before you can sit your practical test. However, you can start lessons with us before passing your theory — we'll lock in your instructor and start building your skills while you prepare. We'll arrange the practical test once your theory is done.
Yes — automatic cars remove gear changes and clutch control from the equation, which many learners find significantly reduces anxiety. You'll typically need fewer hours in an automatic too. The only consideration is that an automatic licence doesn't cover manual vehicles, but for most people that's not an issue.
No problem. If your instructor feels you need extra preparation before your test, we can add hours to your package. Extra hours are priced fairly and arranged directly with your instructor. We'd always rather you pass first time than rush to a test you're not ready for.
Yes — when you message us on WhatsApp, let us know if you have a preference. We have male and female instructors available across Greater Manchester including Cheetham Hill, Salford, Chadderton and West Didsbury. If you prefer a specific instructor you've heard of (Asad, Amna, Talha, Ibrar or Amir), just ask.
We offer a full refund on any unused lesson hours — no awkward conversations, no small print. If you've paid for 10 hours and only used 6, we refund the remaining 4. The £20 booking deposit is non-refundable, but everything else is covered by our Refund Promise.
