What Are Show Me Tell Me Questions?
The Show Me Tell Me is the vehicle safety check section of the UK practical driving test. There are a total of 21 questions — comprising 7 Show Me questions (demonstrated while driving) and 14 Tell Me questions (answered verbally before the test drive begins). Your examiner will ask one Tell Me before you set off and one Show Me while you are driving. One minor fault is allowed across both questions combined. What happens if I get a Show Me Tell Me question wrong? +
Getting one wrong gives you a minor fault. You are allowed up to 15 minor faults across the whole test, so one minor for Show Me Tell Me won't automatically fail you.
