  • Hold a valid UK provisional or full driving licence.

  • Express Pass Driving School cannot guarantee a specific instructor, vehicle model, fuel type, transmission type, or lesson time unless confirmed in writing.
  • Lessons are subject to instructor and vehicle availability at all times.
  • Learners are advised to arrive punctually for all scheduled lessons.

  • Remaining lesson balances may be payable directly to your instructor. Your instructor will confirm the payment methods they accept.

  • A minimum of 48 hours' notice is required to cancel or rearrange a lesson.
  • Lessons cancelled with fewer than 48 hours' notice may be charged at 100% of the lesson fee.

  • Missed or cancelled lessons due to instructor illness, vehicle breakdown, or other circumstances outside Express Pass Driving School's control will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.

DVSA Test Cancellations

  • Express Pass Driving School is not responsible for tests cancelled, postponed, or rescheduled by the DVSA. Both you and Express Pass Driving School will be notified directly by the DVSA in such cases.
  • You agree to inform Express Pass Driving School of any course-related issues promptly. Issues raised only after your course has been completed will not be considered.
06 Intensive Courses
  • Intensive and semi-intensive courses require a strong commitment and consistent availability from the learner throughout the course period.
  • Course schedules may be subject to change depending on instructor availability, DVSA availability, traffic conditions, weather, or learner progress.
  • Additional lessons may be recommended by your instructor if you are not considered to be at test standard at the point of the planned test date.
Important: Express Pass Driving School does not guarantee a driving test pass. Outcome of the practical test is at the sole discretion of the DVSA examiner.
07 Use of Instructor's Vehicle for Test

The instructor has the final decision regarding the use of their vehicle for a practical driving test.

An instructor may refuse the use of their vehicle if they reasonably believe:

  • The learner is not at a safe or adequate driving standard for a test.
  • The learner poses a safety risk to themselves, the instructor, or other road users.
  • The learner is under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
  • The learner is medically unfit to drive.
  • The vehicle may be at risk of damage due to the learner's driving.
No refund will be issued for test-day vehicle refusal where the refusal is on grounds of safety or driving standard.
08 Refund Policy

Refund requests are assessed on a case-by-case basis at the discretion of Express Pass Driving School.

Payments made for any of the following may be non-refundable:

  • Completed lessons or booked instructor time.
  • Administration work carried out on your behalf.
